More Information On Our Environmentally-Friendly Pipeline Solutions
What is trenchless pipeline rehabilitation, and how does it benefit me?
Trenchless pipeline rehabilitation is an advanced method for repairing or replacing pipelines without extensive excavation. Using innovative techniques like trenchless pipe relining and sectional CIPP patch repairs, this solution minimises disruption to your property, reduces costs, and is environmentally friendly. It’s ideal for sewer, stormwater, and other pipeline systems in need of rehabilitation.
How does pipe repair without digging work?
Eco-friendly pipe repair without digging, also known as trenchless technology, involves inserting a new liner or patch into an existing pipe, avoiding the need for digging and minimising disruption. Using methods like uPVC relining, CIPP (Cured-in-Place Pipe), and UV curing, we restore pipe integrity quickly and cost-effectively while preserving your landscape.
What is the process of uPVC trenchless pipe relining?
Trenchless pipe relining involves several key steps:
1. Inspection & Preparation: The pipeline is cleaned, and a CCTV inspection is performed to assess its condition.
2. Liner Installation: A customised uPVC liner is inserted into the pipeline and heated with steam to conform to the pipe’s shape.
3. Reinstatement: Once the liner is in place, a robotic tool is used to cut holes for lateral connections, completing the repair seamlessly.
This technique can be used for sewer, stormwater, and water lines, typically ranging from 100mm to 900mm in diameter.
What are sectional CIPP ambient cure patch repairs?
Sectional CIPP (Cured-in-Place Pipe) repairs are used to address localised damage in pipelines. A fiberglass-reinforced matting, impregnated with epoxy resin, is inserted into the pipeline using an inflatable packer. The resin cures to form a durable patch, restoring the pipeline’s structural integrity. This method is ideal for addressing specific problem areas without the need for full pipeline replacement.
What is the TopHat LJR system, and how does it work?
The TopHat LJR system is a fast and efficient method for sealing lateral connections in sewer systems. It uses a UV-cured fiberglass insert that forms a corrosion-resistant seal, creating a secure connection between the lateral and main pipe. The process is rapid, taking only 12 to 15 minutes, and avoids disruptions like bypass pumping or traffic delays.
What is the Panel Lok uPVC Manhole Lining System?
The Panel Lok system provides corrosion protection and structural enhancement for manholes and wet well chambers. It involves inserting a uPVC liner into the manhole, which is then bonded with grout to form a composite pipe section. This system provides long-term durability and ensures minimal disruption during installation.
How do you handle lateral connections?
Lateral connections are critical parts of the pipeline that can often become problematic. We use advanced technologies like KRE Robotic Cutters or Torpedo Cutters to cut protruding laterals and reinstate lateral connections through methods like robotic or electro-mechanical cutting. This ensures that all lateral connections are restored and integrated smoothly into the pipeline.
How do you unblock drains and handle root cutting?
Blocked drains often result from tree roots or debris infiltrating the pipeline. We use high-pressure water blasting for small root systems and employ robotic or torpedo cutters for more substantial root intrusion. These tools allow us to clear blockages effectively, ensuring that your drains are free-flowing and functional. We offer emergency drain unblocking services throughout NZ for total peace of mind.
What makes your eco-friendly pipe repair services stand out?
Our eco-friendly pipe repair services utilise trenchless technologies that reduce the need for excavation and the environmental impact associated with traditional digging methods. Our solutions, such as uPVC relining, CIPP patch repairs, and UV cured systems, ensure long-term sustainability by providing durable, efficient repairs with minimal disruption to your property and the surrounding environment.
How do CCTV inspections support your pipeline services?
CCTV inspections are essential for assessing pipeline conditions before and after repairs. Using a pushrod CCTV camera, we conduct thorough inspections to identify blockages, cracks, and other damage within your pipes. This helps us plan the most efficient and effective solution, ensuring the long-term health and functionality of your pipeline systems.
